The ushering department of our church is a group of born again believers appointed by God to fulfill their calling in his house.
The duties of the usher team is a very sensitive and important one at kingdom power international Christian praying Centre as their responsibility demand from the team godly commitment and faithfulness in service.
| To serve during the pre-service prayer Period. |
| Ensure that everything is in proper order before the church activities kicks off as well as prevent any occurrence that will negatively affect the entire program of the church. |
| Take full charge of the entrance doors and exit doors. |
| To always take charge of how overflow seating will be handled. |
| Attendance taking: Count everyone in the Young Adult Church, Youth Church. Count all children in the Children Church. Record the numbers on the attendance slip. |
| Collecting the Offering: During offerings, we always usher the entire church member to follow a single in order to get to the offering bags gently and give in a cheerful manner. |
| Offering Assistance to the Pastor: We always stand by the Pastor’s seating area to direct and assist people during altar call. |
| Acts as medium of communication for Pastor during service. |
| Assist Pastor in carrying out emergency procedures. |
| After the Service: We always see that the church is cleaned up after the service. |
| We are always aware of newcomers and visitors who may need assistance. |
| Always be at church at least 6:30am for workers prayer meeting. |
| Should turn on the lights, the heaters and open windows (when applicable) |
| Should be dressed neatly and appropriately. |
| Give out bulletin and visitor’s card (and pen). |
| Should smile and warmly welcome everyone by name. |
| Encourage people to sit closer to the front before they fill up the back row. |
| Help people with babies to find a suitable seat at the nursing mothers section |
| Be alert to reduce any noise or disturbance and also to help people in any need. |
| Be alert to pastor’s instructions to hand out any papers. |
| Come into the service and enjoy the singing, preaching etc. |
| Collect filled-out visitors cards off people as they leave the service. |
| After the Service: We always see that the church is cleaned up after the service. |
| We are always aware of newcomers and visitors who may need assistance. |

| Allocate good soul-winners to lead interested newcomers to Christ. |
| Look for people without a friend and ensure that someone is talking with them at all. |
| Build and maintain a warm happy Godly atmosphere in the service. |
| After everyone has gone home, close windows and lock doors. |
